We pride ourselves on being part of a vibrant community and embrace our role as a host for charity fundraisers.
This past May 27th, 2010 we held a successful evening with proceeds of a Bud, Spud, and Steak BBQ going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Every Saturday afternoon from October until April we hold a meat draw with proceeds going to the Children’s Wish Foundation (with $7000.00 raised this year alone).
The first annual St. Norbert Hotel Golf Tournament was held on May 14th, 2010 at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club. It was a great day of golf, with a BBQ and drinks following at our hotel.
The Bad Marleys came to the Nob April 30th 2010. A university crowd flocked to the Nob to see the Bad Marleys’ mix of gritty rock and punk influenced sounds.
The Nob is located ten minutes north of the Red River Speedway and every year we get in some racing. On July 29th, 2010 a busload of race fans gathered for a fortifying BBQ before heading to the track and returned after the checkered flag to party the night away.
St. Patrick’s day at the Nob saw the green beer flowing, the leprauchans dancing, and no snakes for at least another year.
